Chaslav Radovich

Chaslav Radovich immigrated to Chicago, Illinois with his Family in 1968.

The Radovich family moved to California in 1974 and Chas went on to The University of San Diego on a national merit scholarship with a dual major in Biology and Chemistry. While at the university, Chas became involved in the computer and electronics industry. Foregoing further education, he founded BEST Electronics in 1985.

At the birth of the Computer Semi-conductor Industry, he became a franchise dealer for Intel, Micron, Samsung, and many other semi-conductor manufacturers. Chas was responsible for raising startup capital in order to execute and develop disruptive technologies, which he then took public. Some of the companies include: Pacific Snacks (SNAX), AIMSMART (AIMS) Healthstar (PPOS) and Cobalis (CLSC).

At Cobalis, Chas headed up phase 3 trials with over 2,300 patients in over 31 clinics around the United States. Chas has been driven by entrepreneurial spirit his whole career, and still finds time to provide Community support for Humanitarian efforts in the areas of Opioid Crisis Solutions Network Development, Multiple Sclerosis Research, and other Causes through his Church and Community.

Paul R. Peterson

Mr. Peterson’s experience in business development and management includes extensive work in early stage investment, start-up, growth and ongoing management of small to mid-sized companies. From the tumultuous times of the dotcom era through today’s energy and biotech industry revolutions, Mr. Peterson has been directly involved in the roles of director, officer and investor in the start-up, development, merger, acquisition and turnaround of both private and publicly-traded companies across the spectrum. Mr. Peterson has extensive hands-on experience in the areas of investment, securities, legal, accounting, HR, sales, engineering, manufacturing and the tenacity essential to the success of any endeavor.

Paul received a full scholarship to the University of Minnesota through the US Air Force ROTC. While earning his undergraduate degree in Languages and Linguistics, he took a year as an exchange student to Moscow State University and from such experiences later earned a master’s degree in International Business from St. Thomas College in St. Paul (and a second master’s degree four years later in International Business Management from Kansai University of Foreign Studies in Osaka, Japan). He speaks, reads and writes fluently in Japanese and Russian, and is conversant in Mandarin.

For twenty years, Mr. Peterson has been actively involved as an investor and advisor to startups and development stage companies, and assisting in the turnaround of troubled companies, with focus on the development and integration of renewable energy technology and biotech & biomedical solutions.

Greg A. Brown, M.D.

Director

Doctor Greg Brown is board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine with over 30 years of practicing experience. He is currently at the Satori Recovery Center in Laguna Beach, CA where he provides treatment and support for patients utilizing a mindfulness centered approach.

Doctor Brown earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences and Physical Chemistry from UC Irvine in 1977, and an MD at the Far Eastern University in Manilla in 1982. Since completing his Residency at UC Irvine in 1986 he has been a practicing physician and counselor for over thirty years in Southern California.

Doctor Brown’s extensive history and experience in treating addiction will be an invaluable source of consultation and knowledge for the fund as it guides companies from product development to treatment care.

Chris L. Cass

VP, Operations

Mr. Cass is a generalist in an era of specialist. He attended the University of Southern California under the Navy ROTC program and studied in fine arts as a photographer and sculptor. He served over six years as a Surface Warfare Officer, serving as the Operations Officer on a Minesweeper deployed to the Persian Gulf twice, and ended his service as an officer recruiter in Portland as a Lieutenant.

Chris earned an MBA from the University of Portland in 2014 and started his civilian career as a trader at the world’s largest hedge fund in Connecticut and attained his Series 7 brokerage license.

He has also worked as VP of Sales and Head of Investor Relations at two start ups, as well as spending two seasons as a road based tour guide to National Parks throughout the country.
